Safe & Sound Derby works with children and young people who are being, or could be, sexually exploited in criminal ways that threaten their physical and mental well-being. Established 8 years ago the support and services provided by Safe and Sound are trusted by victims of sexual exploitation, their families, carers and professional agencies alike.
Safe and Sound played a pivotal role in helping to expose the criminal ring convicted last week of grooming and sexually abusing local children and young people. The court case may have finished, but Safe and Sound continues to support and work closely with many of the young victims involved in the case, and a wide range of vulnerable children and young people across Derby. The charity is also working at a national level on supporting the development of national policy and responses to the sexual exploitation and trafficking of children and young people.
Like many charities Safe and Sound are dependent on donations to be able to continue this essential work and this is where you can help us.
