The past few months have seen lots of hard work behind the scenes to ensure that the 'Keeping Derby Safe & Sound' Appeal reaches its target of raising £500,000 for Safe & Sound over the next two years. The money raised will allow the charity to continue its work with some of the City's most vulnerable children and young people - those at risk of, or involved in sexual exploitation.
Fundraising events have been planned by local businesses, groups and other organisations, including Derby County Football Club, the Rotary Club of Matlock and local band The James Warner Prophecies. Maybe one of our forthcoming events will inspire you to get involved - fancy outdoor swimming, a band night or a charity auction, or maybe a black tie ball is more your thing? See the other articles in this newsletter for more details!
If you would like to make a donation to the appeal you can do so through the website at www.safeandsoundderby.co.uk.
If you have a fundraising idea, or would like us to publicice an event you have planned please call 01332 362120 and speak to Nicola Dalby or Kirsty Minns. Alternatively please e-mail info@safeandsoundderby.co.uk.
